Description

A cliff split in two like a curtain of burning rock; a woman with a red umbrella walks into the gap between the shores, straight toward the moon waiting at the end of the pier. Down the centre of the canvas runs a wooden boardwalk with white railings, vanishing into a pearly distance; on either side rise orange-violet cliff walls, densely textured like living fire. On their edges two leafless trees lean toward each other, weaving their branches above a great pale moon in a lilac dusk sky. On the boards stands a woman seen from behind, with short navy-blue hair, in a tiered violet-blue gown baring her back; above her head she holds a red umbrella. Along the way, a file of black lanterns with milky globes.
