Description
Two sister-experimenters summon the moon with thin sparkler wands, Faraday's physics dressed in a salon gown, a red sea as the laboratory bench. Against a symmetrically composed ground — a silver foil sky above, a glowing red sea cut by white wave-lines below — two identical women stand with their backs to the viewer in blue-steel crinoline gowns with red-and-silver stripes at the hem and dark-blue hair tied up in turbans; each holds in her hand a thin smoking wand aimed at the centre of the canvas, where a great bluish-silver full moon hangs.
