Description
A Renaissance-Orthodox icon in Polish guise, Pantocrator ironically misread as «Pan to Kreator» — «The Lord is the Creator», Earth on the palm as a miniature of responsibility. On a sheet of gold leaf appears the bearded face of Christ Pantocrator with a halo, in an orange-and-gold robe and a dark-steel mantle; his right hand makes a gesture of blessing, his left holds a small blue-white-and-green Earth; the inscription ΠΑΝ ΤΟ ΚΡΕΑΤΟR runs on either side of the head.
