Description
Brzechwa's Mr. Maluśkiewicz meeting a whale beneath a golden moon, a children's rhyme retold with painter's gravity, a blue drop of water never mattered so much. On the right, in a small orange boat, a tiny figure in a blue coat and red hat holds a red umbrella; before him the head of a great blue whale rises from the water; behind the scene hangs a vast gold-leaf moon.
