Description
A cat as dignitary, the irony of a state portrait, a golden-eyed monarch — a discreet bow to Bulgakov. A black cat in a navy admiral's uniform, with thick gold epaulettes, a blue sash and several medals on its chest, poses against a dark background with all the gravity of an official portrait.
