Description
A visit to Childe Hassam — a woman sealed in a glass bubble on a studio table while a flowering meadow blazes beyond the windows. A small figure in a red puff-sleeved dress stands inside a large transparent glass globe resting on a wooden table; her arms are raised as if calling out or catching her balance. Above the bubble, in the gap between window frames, a small red sphere hovers — a twin to the dress. Past the wide-open blue windows stretches an impressionist meadow flecked with pink and white blossoms.
