Description
A perfumer's meditation, a woman turned from the viewer like a priestess of aroma, a silver cloud of scent as the liturgy of the everyday. Against a silver ground a copper-skinned woman in a long pleated amber-brown robe and turban stands with her back to us; in her right hand she holds a tiny perfume flask, from which a pale-gold mist of scent rises before her.
