Description
Mona Lisa lifted out of her Renaissance frame, set on a column like a relic, a mask in place of a smile, water in place of a horizon. In a tall narrow format a slender woman stands on a golden column in a red silk gown and a cream wrap; her head is gently tilted, a dark mask across her eyes. Below the column the water reflects the plinth; far away a faint line of forest in twilight blue.
