Description
A woman in a stained-glass dress beneath an umbrella the colour of sunset — the rain falls not as water but as light, the scene like a prayer said in the full sun of a storm. Against a glowing orange-and-red ground stands, with her back to the viewer, a slender woman, nude from the waist up, in a short bell-shaped skirt built of stained-glass petals in pastel green, pink and blue; above her head a wide warmly yellow-orange umbrella, and around the whole figure long fine streaks of rain fall, gathering in the foreground into a puddle that reflects her silhouette.
