Description
Charlotte Corday in a bourgeois bath after Marat, a wine glass instead of a knife, a wooden crate like a tombstone inscription. Reclining in a tub wrapped in olive drapery, a nude woman with greenish skin and a short black bob, in half-profile, lifts a glass of red wine in her right hand; on a dark wooden crate to her right is painted „À MARTA ZDYBAŁ”, paraphrasing David's „À MARAT”. Background of crimson and black streaks.
