Description
A tale of a knight-errant, a woman as a dream in the oval frame of a landscape, a fiery room around her as the rest of the world. In the centre of a vertical canvas, within a great copper-toned wooden oval window-frame, reclines a woman in a burgundy densely flounced gown; behind her stretches a cool landscape of woods and fields; in the lower right hovers a glassy droplet of water; the background outside the frame held in orange-red blaze.
