Description
Four silences over the water, women on piles like notes on a stave, day and night in a single frame. From either side of the horizontal canvas sit two nude blue women on wooden piles driven into the sea; above the horizon both a sun and the dark disc of a full moon are visible, while in the water between them floats a silver moon.
