Description
Mars and Venus fused in one, a woman as the bookkeeper of two planets, the offering of a silver disc to a fiery sphere. A copper-skinned figure in a long copper gown stands with her back to the viewer on a softly creased cloth; she holds in both hands a small luminous white disc and offers it toward the enormous blood-red Mars filling the background.
