Description
A bald, statuesque figure in a blue light, a silken cascade of lazuli spilling at her feet, a crimson wall silent behind her. Against a carmine-burgundy ground stands, in a calm, almost ritual pose, a woman with a smoothly shaved head and blue-grey skin; in a turquoise-green shimmering long gown and a deep navy coat thrown around her shoulders, she lifts with one hand a heavy undulating dark-blue silken cloth that spills in a wide train down to the lower edge of the canvas.
