Description
Hevelius in a woman's skin, a glass of red wine as the books of astronomy reduced to the scale of passion, the moon as her only addressee. A blue-skinned woman in a long navy gown leans on a horizontal red pole; in her right hand she holds a glass of red wine; behind her the full disc of the moon fills the background.
