Description
The root as the world's true interior — what nourishes is hidden in darkness, and the sea is seen only through a small window. Down the centre runs a tree trunk whose branching, glowing root system descends into earth cut open like the inside of a room. The walls are warm ochre-brown; on the right a cut-out window with a hinged shutter reveals a dark sea with a streak of light. Above roll dense red clouds.
