Description
A castle woven of straw — towers as high as the sky, walls the first wind will unravel. Two figures in long coats — one in a cream cape, one in fur — stand with their backs to the viewer on a vast field of many-coloured smooth pebbles. Before them rises a monumental structure of plaited straw courses, crowned with thin soaring spires. The sky is grey-violet and clouded.
