Description
A prophecy in a marble hall, the shadow runs ahead of the hands, a red staircase like an open book of fate. In a light Art-Nouveau interior with copper ornament stands by the railing of a spiral red stair a blue-skinned woman in a long dark-blue draped robe with a kerchief slipping from her head; her long shadow on the wall shows a woman in an entirely different pose; on the steps below, a black mirror-ball.
