Description
Champ de Mars as a field of pumpkins, a Parisian court turned into rural chess, a lady in violet juggling orange planets. In a wide ochre field full of vivid orange pumpkins arranged in rows stands a woman in a long violet silk gown with a white ruff and a pumpkin-bulb crown; in her right hand she holds a smaller, planet-like pumpkin orb.
